{"id":502,"date":"2022-05-28T18:56:51","date_gmt":"2022-05-28T16:56:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/atinel.hr\/en\/?p=502"},"modified":"2025-08-31T17:41:39","modified_gmt":"2025-08-31T15:41:39","slug":"plc-challenge-2022","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/atinel.hr\/en\/news\/plc-challenge-2022\/","title":{"rendered":"PLC challenge 2022"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ATINEL d.o.o. &#8211; Siemens &#8211; Electrical Engineering School Vara\u017edin<\/p>\n<p>On June 11, 2022, the fourth PLC system programming competition organized by Atinel and Siemens, and the Electrical Engineering School Vara\u017edin, will be held.<br \/>\nThe competition will be held on the premises of the Electrical Engineering School Vara\u017edin<br \/>\nThe organizers will provide each competitor with a workstation with the necessary hardware and software.<br \/>\nThe workstation will contain a laptop with installed TIA software for programming Basic PLCs and touch screens (HMIs) and cabinet panels with a mounted and largely wired CPU, power supply and other input\/output elements, and the necessary tools.<br \/>\nEach participant in the competition will receive a gift upon completion, and the first three places will receive cash prizes:<br \/>\n1st place 5,000 kn<br \/>\n2nd place 2,500 kn<br \/>\n3rd place 1,000 kn<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/atinel.hr\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/siemens.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"45\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-503\" \/><\/p>\n<p>COMPETITION RULES AND RULES<\/p>\n<p>1. The software used for programming the PLC is TIA Portal STEP7 Basic and for programming the touch screens is WinCC Basic.<\/p>\n<p>2. The equipment used is: PLC \u2013 SIMATIC S7-1200, HMI \u2013 SIMATIC Basic Panel KTP1000, frequency converter \u2013 YASKAWA, electric motor \u2013 Kon\u010dar D\/Y 230\/400V, 0.12 kW<\/p>\n<p>3. The task will be described and presented in detail to all competitors, after which the competitors will have 4 full hours to complete it.<\/p>\n<p>4. A maximum of 10 candidates can apply for the competition, and students can apply via email to plc-challenge@atinel.hr<\/p>\n<p>5.
